Omg! I waited till I had painted our bedroom patio door to hang these curtains, wish I had done it sooner! These curtains are IMPRESSIVE! They have an excellent hang, drape and feel with a nice looking black liner that looks classier than the cheap blackout curtains found at most big box stores. There is literally no light that come through the fabric and they keep out the Arizona heat too. I hope they never quit making these, especially in this hard to find length…I will be buying more for our summer place!

I purchased these curtains when it was really hot 90+ degrees and they have kept my bedroom cooler and blocks out the morning sunlight, my room is 20 degrees cooler than without them. I am very happy with these and purchased additional curtains for the rest of my house. I got some for the, sliding glass doors in the kitchen which is south facing and heats up in the afternoon so I also got some for that window and it has made a huge difference in the temperature in the kitchen. These are really good quality and will need a little light ironing to get out the folded wrinkles but not too hot otherwise you might burn them.

If you’re looking for a curtain that blocks out light completely, this curtain does that exact thing. When I hanged it, no sunlight got in my room aside from those that passed through the big rings that you use to hang it. It also traps in the cold longer, and keeps the heat from entering.

I purchased these curtains because the blinds weren’t cutting it for blocking that morning light and we wanted something to fight the heat since our bedroom was on the second floor and took all the afternoon sun in the window. Super heavy duty and easy to install. As soon as we put them up, the room was as dark as night time and over the past few days have made the upstairs almost 5-10 degrees cooler. If you want something to help cool the house or block out all light (perfect for sun or even porch light) I highly highly highly recommend getting a set or 2 of these.

I have two recessed windows in my bedroom that face directly west. Needless to say, the room is pretty much unbearable between 3PM to 8PM. After a year of being unable to even step in my bedroom in the late afternoons, I finally caved and got these blackout curtains. Not so much for the light blocking aspect, but to see if they would help block out the relentless heat.
After a few days of having these curtains up, I can’t believe I ever lived without them. The difference is amazing. I have one window fully covered by a single panel, and the second window I have the other panel about 70% drawn, to let some light in for my plants. Even with this partial opening, the room is no longer stifling and unbearable. I can lay there and take a nap at 5PM if I want without feeling like I’m being roasted like a pig. Ten out of ten, would buy again.

I hung these ad boys at high noon on a bright sunny summer day. Upon closing there was a bit of light coming in at the top and bottom (NONE through the main part of the curtains!) When I went to my bedroom it was so dark I couldn’t even find the bed without turning on the lights. I slept like a baby for the first time in a long time.
Oh yes, and they also have been helping during the summer heat and muffling the sounds of neighborhood fireworks. Yay! I highly recommend these curtains!

I love the dark color to these, as it matches my comforter set almost to a tee. It does help with keeping the heat out, my AC was broken for a week and it was nice to have those in the bedroom. It was cooler in there then the rest of the apartment.

We purchased due to sunlight fading furniture and floor. Plus so hot in that area over our entry hall. A big change in the heat in the room. A good grade and quality of material.
This is heavier material which I believe in time it will pull the wrinkles out. I also purchased other brands for different areas of the house. This is the best one of them all. I will purchase them again when needed. And purchase more for other rooms as I can get my hubby to agree to hang 🙂 lol

So, my office faces the sun directly during the 3 sunniest / hottest periods of the day. There are wood shades for covering, and the windows themselves have been pro tinted but that only helps mildly. Typically, i have a giant robellini outside that helps cut down the sun as well. The robellini needed to be trimmed so here we are.

As someone who lives in AZ and has a lot of windows in there house I knew I wanted something that looked nice and blocked the sun. These did both above expectations. I get complimented on these drapes constantly and the amount of heat they block out is staggering! I was shocked to see my thermostat barely change when I got back from work in the morning. These drapes are also in the same room as a projector TV and even during the times when the sun beats directly on my window it blocks enough so the picture is perfect!
