I’ve tried a lot of other magnetic screen door meshes, so at first I was really hesistant to buy another one and throw my money away yet again. My family and I live in an area where a lot of bugs like to welcome themselves in the house relentlessly (flies, earwigs, bees, and moths.) We also have a dog (rottweiler mix) that likes to go in and out throughout the day. Let me tell you…this mesh has been genuinely great and durable, even with the summer heat and dog going in and out. It comes with thumb-tacks to reinforce the corners and any sides you feel may need it. Be sure to measure the door (fits most doors) before cutting and applying the velcro. It’s really quick and easy to set up too, which is convenient. Since our door is made of metal, like most are, the magnetic strip at the bottom sometimes sticks to the the door. When our dog goes through it, this doesn’t happen, and it just depends on how you walk through it. Either way…easy “fix” and it’s completely worth keeping the bugs out.

My husband installed it where he works (a gymnastics facility) so that they could keep bugs out of the gym but allow fresh air and easy back and forth transport to the outside. This has come in super handy when bringing in equipment and also when the gym participates in outdoor activities with the kids (picture hundreds of 6-9 year old girls running back in forth between inside and outside during a special event and every single one of them leaves the door OPEN! I can’t believe I purchased this door screen 3 months ago. It was delivered as promised and the quality was incredible! It was so easy to install and fit my door perfectly. It even seems like it helps filter the sun. I have never removed the screen and it has seen lots of wind, rain and snow . Not to mention lots of traffic. It survived grand babies a number of adults and 2 big dogs and a small one. My son accidentally put a rip in it moving equipment but I was able to hand stitch it. This is the first year I had to secure the tacks and it lines up perfect because the magnets are still working.

This is the 2nd magnetic screen door we’ve tried and I have to say, it exceeded our expectations. The mesh feels soft, yet sturdy. It has a line pattern going down it, but even so, it doesn’t distort our view of the lake in our backyard. We have two young kids running around that both have trouble remembering to shut the door behind them. We get a sizeable amount of mosquitos around here because of the lake, and it’s so nice to have a screen that ‘remembers’ to shut behind them, even when they forget the door.

I love this product. It was incredibly easy to install, as long as you measure correctly and clean the area which you intend to install. My animals quickly learned how to use it with some positive reinforcement and I’ll very likely be buying 2 more of these for my other back door as well as my cat room door. Would highly recommend.

For the price of this item, I will continue ordering it each year. We have a really bad fly and mosquito problem because of a property next door to us and it significantly cut down on our inside issues. The magnets are strong, so the snap-back is very effective. We installed it on the inside of a screen door frame so it was not the easiest install, but that is not the fault of the manufacturer.

We have a walk out basement with a sliding glass door. The door has no sliding screen, and not really a great place to install one. But really, I wouldn’t want a sliding screen, as it doesn’t close itself. I have 3 kids who love to leave doors open, I need something that shuts itself.
Overall, this fits the bill nicely. It fits my door opening perfectly. Just enough slack that the magnetic parts can find each other and close it after use. Now the bugs stay out while the kids are free to zoom through.

Flies! Flies everywhere. Well, not as many as before. I am pretty satisfied with this product. The mesh material is good and sturdy, and the magnets do a decent job closing behind you for the most part. I only really have one complaint but, by no means, a deal breaker. I thought the magnets would be more “heavy duty” (i.e., stronger). The magnets do their job pretty good actually. Recommended!

Although we have had this installed for only about two weeks, we have found it to be an excellent means of enabling our dog to access and egress from one room of our home. The quality is substantial; it is heavy enough to resist moderate wind and yet it is easily opened by our 11 pound puppy. We appreciate the light and ventilation it affords the room, while at the same time prohibiting entrance of uninvited birds or other flying creatures.

This was easy to install, overall. The directions were a little confusing, but I managed to follow them well enough. My only issue is that the velcro at the top of the middle of the door keeps detaching a little. When this happens, the magnets don’t fall together. As soon as I reach up and reattach it, they close right up. I need to find a way to make sure that doesn’t happen, maybe glue or a screw. My dogs have figured it out and I love that, it’s like having a doggy door and people door.

We have a 32 inch door and this is just a tad small. Probably would have been better if we had put velcro as close as possible. However the magnets keep it together really well. I just wish there was a little more wiggle room. It looks very nice an magnets are very strong. If you have any doubts about this, dont’worry It is well worth the money. Very happy

I did not use the included adhesive strips. I am using the screen as a temporary screen. I used painters tape to hold the screen over the door frame. My purpose is to have a screen while refinishing the door. Once the project is complete I remove the screen. I have two doors to refinish. By using painters tape I can use the screen on both doors and multiple times.

I have purchased these screen door meshing things in the past and I really like them. I needed a new one due to owning two crazy dogs that refused to go through the middle where the opening. After about four months, they would start peel apart from the door frame. I decided on this brand for a good price point. I am satisfied with my purchase. Quality seems strong and durable, fits my door well. This time around though, I’m going to use small nails to keep it from being pulled down from heavy rainstorms and my dogs.

Our sliding glass door doesn’t have a screen so we decided to give this a shot. Installation isn’t difficult – unless your door frame isn’t a traditional frame like a sliding glass door one. We kept our door open and used the screen all weekend and didn’t have any pests fly in. Nice product overall, but make sure your Magnetic Screen fits your door frame.

This is such a cool idea. This magnetic screen door goes up in minutes! I do suggest starting out with clean surfaces so the velcro stays put. This i screen door is being used at my Dad’s. He has an attatched garage and needed something for when he want the garage wide open and also the door to the house open. It definitely keeps the bugs out. The heavy duty mesh was just a little long but he adjusted it and had no problem. It seems like it should last, because it feels durable. This is a great fix for those who can’t afford to have doors installed. Easy for anyone who isn’t handy to put this up. Why didn’t I think of this?
